Joana Carmo Dias has a PhD in Management, specialising in Marketing, from the Nova School of Business and Economics and a Master in Marketing at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She is an assistant professor at IPAM Porto, and Universidade do Minho in the scientific areas of management and marketing and supervises several master's dissertations. She is an integrated researcher at COMEGI, and her research focus is services marketing, healthcare, consumer experience and branding. Until 2017 she developed her professional career as a marketing manager.
