Raquel Soares

Raquel Reis Soares is an Associate Professor of Marketing at IPAM, researcher at UNIDCOM/IADE, Universidade Europeia and collaborator at CinTurs, Universidade do Algarve. Between 2016 and 2021, she served as Dean of the School of Social and Business Sciences of the Universidade Europeia and as Pedagogical Director between 2015 and 2016. She holds a PhD in Business and Management Studies - Specialization in Marketing and Strategy from School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto, a Master in Marketing and a Degree in Management from Católica Porto Business School. She has been lecturing at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels, e.g. Operational Marketing, Strategic Marketing Planning, Marketing Fundamentals, Brand Management, including the supervision of several theses from management and marketing programs. Her main research interests, as well as presentations at conferences and international publications are in the fields of services marketing, consumer behavior, business models, sustainability, among others. Since 2015, she has been a member of editorial committees and a reviewer for different international conferences and journals. In 2014, she won the Young Service Researcher Award by Service Innovation Lab - University of Canberra.

She is currently the Director of the IPAM Porto's Bachelor and Master Degree in Business Management.
