24 janeiro 2023
The Marketing Game is a fully online competition promoted by the IPAM (Instituto Português de Administração de Marketing), which challenges secondary school and university students to participate in a game that combines entertainment with the development of skills in Marketing Management.

For two and a half months, the participants will have the opportunity to live the day-to-day management of a company, and make real decisions related to the strategic dimension and the tactical, practical and operational component of Marketing. The game is essentially aimed at students interested in the areas of social and economic sciences, and is naturally open to all participants who show curiosity in the area of Marketing.

The registration in the game is free and should be done by the students, divided in teams composed by two or three elements, between January 10th and February 10th.

According to Daniel Sá, executive director of IPAM, "Marketing has an unequivocal role in the business world, appearing increasingly a categorical area for the training of future leaders". For Marta Bicho, director of IPAM Lisboa, "the participation in The Marketing Game is a unique opportunity for students to experience the day-to-day management of a company, contributing to a vocational discovery for the processes of strategic, tactical and operational analysis of decision-making, individually and in teams."

In this 2023 edition, the first 3 classified teams will receive prizes (FNAC Voucher) at the Closing Ceremony on the 25th of May, respectively: 1st prize worth 1,500€, 2nd prize worth 750€ and 3rd prize worth 450€.
